Portugal Report Tessel and Vera
Day 1
We left our parents behind and boarded the plane. Then we went by bus to Braga where our host family was waiting for us. Then we went to explore Braga with our host family. For dinner we ate hamburgers and for dessert we made ice cream and cake ourselves food and presents. When we had already eaten, we went to watch the voice kids in Portuguese and then went to bed.
Day 2
We had breakfast and then we were almost late for school because of a misunderstanding. At school we had an English lesson, then we had dinner and went outside. When the bell rang we had to queue at the canteen and we got food. It was spaghetti with meatballs and sour lettuce. Then we went to the library to play uno with the other Dutch children. Then in the afternoon we went to a performance of a water tram, then we really went to that tram. After this we went to the mothers private school where they taught English and German. After this we played games. Then we were picked up and we ate soup rice and schnitzel. Then we played games and put on a mask before we went to bed.
Day 3
After breakfast we were late for school again but we were the first and went to the bus we went to a fish auction with live fish. Then we went to clean up the beach and look for beautiful stones. At lunch we ate pizza in a park. Then we went to a mill that turns grain into a gull. Then we went home with Beatrix, Miriam’s girlfriend, and ate Pizza. Then we went home and slept.
Day 4
In the morning we had breakfast with pastel de nata.
Then we had workshops. When we went to the canteen to eat, we ate pasta with a chicken leg. Then we went to the mayor in Braga. Then we went for an ice cream in town. Then we went back to Mirriam’s mother’s school and after playing games we were picked up again. We ate broccoli soup and a fish dish and creme brulee for dessert and we played games.
Day 5
We went to a sewer and were allowed in there too. Then we went back to school and ate rice with fish. Then we went to the planetarium and then we went back home then we went to school for a party. Then we ate pizza and went back home.
Day 6
We had breakfast and went to school to make nice bracelets then we went to the hall to give our presentation. During the break we ate pork and potatoes. And then we went shopping, then we went home to pack our suitcase and make Franceschina, then we went to sleep.
Day 7
We went to breakfast and played games and to the car. And we said goodbye to our host family and went on the bus to the airport. Then we went flying and then to our parents.
