For the lessons I am giving to 7 th and 8 th grade I want it to match their Faqta themes. Faqta is a
subject that they have in school about various themes where they have to work independently on
their own projects. The theme for 7 th grade is “dry or wet feet”. The class I made with this is about
extreme weather, because I still wanted it to fit my sustainability theme, and climate change is the
main cause of extreme weather. I made an interactive presentation to tell all the information I have
gathered and a weatherboard so they can work creatively within the theme. My goals for them were
to work together, be creative, and learn about my chosen topic. I integrated seven forms of extreme
weather in my presentation, and the other goals in my craft.

You can find my presentation on the Lessonup site, and I have a photo of my creative assignment
added to this report.

The theme I had to work within for 8 th grade was “our eternal earth”. For this grade, I chose to make
a lesson about plastic, because I chose that topic as well for the rest of the grades. I had the same
goals in mind for 8 th grade as I had for 7 th grade. To accomplish them, I made an educational online
escape room about plastic and a worksheet where they have to work together and try to think of a
way to clean the plastic soup.

You can find the online escaperoom on the genially site, and I have the worksheet added to this
report.

Teaching went well, both classes were really interested in what I was telling them and took the
assignments I gave them serious. The feedback I got from the children and teachers was positive as
well.
